Be patient with Tinubu. With perseverance and collective support, we can overcome current hardships and emerge stronger – Omo-Agege tells Nigerians
Former Deputy Senate President Ovie Omo-Agege has urged Nigerians to remain patient with President Bola Tinubu’s administration, emphasizing that recent economic reforms, though challenging, are aimed at achieving long-term growth and sustainability.
In his Christmas message, Omo-Agege acknowledged the hardships caused by policies such as fuel subsidy removal and exchange rate unification but highlighted their potential to address decades of mismanagement and shift Nigeria toward self-sufficiency and job creation.
He noted emerging benefits, including improved growth rates, reduced imports, increased exports, higher farmer incomes, and greater financial allocations to state and local governments. Omo-Agege called on Nigerians to support the administration’s transformation agenda, emphasizing collaboration and perseverance to overcome current struggle.
