DNA test should be abolished in Igboland. Every child born in marriage belongs to the woman’s husband – Ebonyi monarch’s son says
Nelson Igboke, the son of a former traditional ruler in Ebonyi, has advocated for the abolition of DNA tests in Igboland.
He shared this opinion in a Facebook post on Monday, December 9. According to him, the culture of the land has made it clear that the woman’s husband owns every child born in marriage
“The advent of DNA test should be abolished in Igboland. Our culture made it explicitly clear that every child born in marriage is owned by the woman husband,” he wrote.
