Nigeria needs listening leaders who don’t act like they know it all – Peter Obi

Peter Obi, the 2023 Labour Party Presidential Candidate, has emphasized that Nigeria will thrive under leaders who value and respect public opinion aimed at improving the nation.

Speaking in Yola on Saturday as the keynote speaker at the 16th Annual Founder’s Day and 20th Anniversary of the American University of Nigeria (AUN), he stressed that national development is unattainable without leaders who collaborate with the people.

“Leaders must be listeners and be ready to learn the right thing and to do it. Leaders must not act as though they know it all,” Obi said.
