I will leave office a free man, without being afraid of EFCC – Gov Hope Uzodinma declares

Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma has confidently stated that he will leave office untainted, without fear of being pursued by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) or any other body. Speaking after the Feast of Christ the King Mass at the Government House Chapel in Owerri, he urged anyone with evidence of misconduct to come forward.

Governor Hope Uzodimma asserted that he has kept all promises made to the people of Imo State. He expressed confidence in his administration’s legacy of prosperity, infrastructure development, and restored dignity for the state. His remarks come in the wake of the EFCC’s arrest of former Delta State Governor Ifeanyi Okowa over allegations of misappropriating N1.3 trillion.

“I will leave office a free man, sleep with my two eyes closed without being afraid of anybody, including the EFCC”, he said.
