APC chieftain Joe Igbokwe has voiced his disapproval of youth groups advocating for Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to contest for the Lagos State governorship in 2027.
In a Facebook post, Igbokwe described the calls as a distraction, emphasizing that governing a state as complex as Lagos requires seasoned leadership, not “boys.” He cautioned against trivializing such a critical role, urging stakeholders to focus on capable and experienced candidates who can manage the unique challenges of Lagos.
