Afrobeats sensation David Adeleke, famously known as Davido, is marking his 32nd birthday in a remarkable way by donating N300 million to support orphanages and youth-focused charities.
The singer shared the exciting news on his X handle early Monday morning, highlighting his commitment to giving back to society. Part of the donation, he revealed, will also go to a charity organization dedicated to combating drug abuse among young people.
Davido assured his fans and followers that more details about the donation initiative would be shared in subsequent updates.
He wrote, “Once again, for my birthday this year, we are donating to orphanages and a charity that helps young people stay away from drug abuse & addiction. This year is N300m. Details to follow soon.”
In November 2021, Davido donated N250m to 292 orphanages in celebration of his 29th birthday.
