Tinubu nominates Bianca Odumegwu Ojukwu and six others as ministers, sack 5 Ministers
President Bola Tinubu has nominated seven new ministers as part of a significant government restructuring to enhance operations.
The appointments were revealed in a statement from the presidency following the Federal Executive Council meeting on Wednesday, October 23.
The new ministerial nominees are: Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda (Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction), Muhammadu Maigari Dingyadi (Minister of Labour & Employment), Bianca Odinaka Odumegu-Ojukwu (Minister of State for Foreign Affairs), Dr. Jumoke Oduwole (Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment), Idi Mukhtar Maiha (Minister of Livestock Development), Rt. Hon. Yusuf Abdullahi Ata (Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development), and Suwaiba Said Ahmad, PhD (Minister of State for Education).
President Tinubu urged the new appointees to dedicate themselves to serving the nation and emphasized the administration’s commitment to driving Nigeria toward sustainable growth, calling on them to fully support the government’s priorities.
