The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye OgunwusiIn in a grand ceremony at Obafemi Awolowo University, Osun State, honored Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, by unveiling a golden statue in her tribute.
The Ooni also contributed a 2.7km Senator Oluremi Tinubu Way, a grand pavilion, and a monument on the university campus, honoring her exemplary leadership, commitment to education, women’s empowerment, and national unity.
In response, Mrs. Tinubu pledged N1 billion toward the university’s horticultural landscaping, reinforcing her dedication to education and empowerment. This distinguished recognition highlights Mrs. Tinubu’s significant contributions to Nigerian society as a prominent politician, women’s rights advocate, and dedicated public servant.
