We must work hard. There is no free beer parlour anymore – Tinubu tells Nigerians
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has informed Nigerians that the era of freebies is over. He emphasized the need for hard work, particularly in the agricultural sector, and urged the people to be patient with the government.
Tinubu noted that his administration is in the process of restructuring and revitalizing the country’s economy, requesting time to achieve these goals. He shared these remarks during a visit by the Forum of Former Presiding Officers of the National Assembly, led by former Senate President Ken Nnamani, in Abuja.
He said; People say we’re hungry; yes, I understand that. We don’t want to keep the people hungry and angry, but we say be patient— we must work hard. There is no free beer parlour anymore. We’ll retool and rebuild Nigeria’s economy”
