Edo Election: Never close your eyes. Oshiomhole can’t win without rigging – Sam Amadi warns Obaseki

As the Edo State governorship election approaches Sam Amadi, Director of the Abuja School of Social and Political Thoughts, has urged Governor Godwin Obaseki to remain vigilant. Amadi cautioned Obaseki not to underestimate former governor Adams Oshiomhole, who he claims cannot win without resorting to rigging.

Oshiomhole is backing the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Senator Monday Okpebholo, heightening tensions in the race. Amadi’s warning highlights the need for transparency and vigilance as the election draws closer, with the call for a fair and credible process gaining urgency.

He said: “In Edo election, the focus should not be much on @inecnigeria. In off season elections, INEC comes out well.

“The security, especially @PoliceNG is the problem. Watch them slowly.

“@GovernorObaseki should never close his eyes. Adams can’t win without rigging.”
