Biafra Self Referendum physical voting card sample recorded 50 million votes – Simon Ekpa
The Simon Ekpa-led Biafra Republic Government in Exile (BRGIE) has claimed that over 50 million people have participated in a self-referendum vote. Ekpa, who serves as the Prime Minister of BRGIE, made this announcement in a statement posted on his official X account on Tuesday.
He noted that the enthusiastic participation of Biafrans in both e-voting and physical voting demonstrates their strong desire for liberation. Ekpa further claimed that the number of Biafrans who have voted in favor of a self-referendum over the past eight months exceeds the 25,286,616 million votes recorded in the 2023 Nigerian presidential election.
He cited reasons such as marginalization, underdevelopment, insecurity, attacks against Christians, and poverty in the South-East and South-South regions as justification for seeking a self-referendum.
“Let it be on record, the sample of the Biafra Self Referendum physical voting card has recorded over 50 million votes, double the general election result.
“50 million votes officially recorded and registered in the 40 United States of Biafra.
“We are making it happen! Tell your children this is how we did it. Let the historians go to work,” he claimed.
