My dear father inspires me every day – Davido reacts as dad donates N1bn to C&S Church

Afrobeat musician Davido has responded to his father’s N1 billion donation to a church.

Davido’s father, Adedeji Adeleke, donated N1 billion to the Centenary Endowment Fund of the Cherubim and Seraphim (C&S) Church on Sunday.

The donation was made in memory of his mother, Esther Adeleke, during her remembrance service at the church’s headquarters in Lagos.

Reacting to the viral video of the event in the comments section of Tunde Ednut’s post, Davido mentioned that his father has a strong passion for donating to both the church and education.

The singer wrote, “Anything Church or education, no worry, you don cash out.

In another post, he added“My dear father inspires me every day! Love this man right here.”
