Paris 2024: Brume, Usoro, Ochonogor through to women’s long jump final
Team Nigeria’s trio of Ese Brume, Ruth Usoro, and Prestina Ochonogor have qualified for the women’s long jump final at the 2024 Olympic Games.
This marks the first time three Nigerians will compete in the final of the long jump event at the Olympics.
The trio will contend with nine other athletes for medals in the final.
Brume secured her spot in the final with an automatic qualifying leap of 6.76m. Usoro qualified with a mark of 6.68m, and Ochonogor claimed her place with a jump of 6.65m.
The final will take place on Wednesday.
