Cabal that Tinubu dismantled are the ones sponsoring protests – Hope Uzodinma claims
Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State has praised President Bola Tinubu for dismantling cabals that were exploiting the nation’s resources. According to Uzodinma, these cabals are behind the current nationwide protests against Tinubu, despite having benefited from Nigeria’s wealth.
In a statement released on Friday, the governor also commended the Southeast people for not participating in the protests. While acknowledging that peaceful protest is a citizen’s right, Uzodinma emphasized that Tinubu is committed to tackling the country’s challenges.
According to the governor: “I commend our people of the South Eastern region for heeding our appeal not to join the nationwide protest. Your wisdom in recognizing the potential danger of hijackers targeting peaceful demonstrators is truly commendable.
“While peaceful protest is undoubtedly a right of the people, your decision to prioritize safety and stability showcases great prudence.
“It is unfortunate that those who contributed to our current economic challenges are now the ones sponsoring protests instead of working with FG for resolution.
“This reaction comes simply because we have a President who is courageous enough to dismantle the entrenched cabal exploiting our common resources.”
