300 level ATBU student dies after falling in the bathroom
Najaatu Salisu, a 300-level Computer Science student at Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU) Bauchi, died on Friday morning, July 26. According to Leadership, she was found unconscious in the bathroom of the female hostel at the Gubi campus after preparing for her morning class.
Despite being rushed to the university clinic and subsequently to the Trauma Centre at Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Teaching Hospital, she was pronounced dead. ATBU Spokesperson Zailani Bappa confirmed the incident, stating that Najaatu had been buried according to Islamic rites.
