Protest: Your failure has greatly contributed to the hunger in the land – Aisha Yesufu slams DSS

Aisha Yesufu has urged the Department of State Services (DSS) to focus its efforts on gathering intelligence about kidnappers, terrorists, and unknown gunmen

The DSS claimed to have identified the sponsors and funders of a proposed nationwide protest against economic hardship and bad governance, which the agency described as politically motivated.

The DSS warned the organizers against proceeding with the protest, citing potential plans by criminal elements to incite unrest.

Yesufu responded on her social media, criticizing the DSS for failing to address threats from terrorists, bandits, kidnappers, and unknown gunmen, which she believes has contributed to widespread hunger in the country.

She said: “DSS should counsel itself on its failure to gather intelligence on the terrorists, bandits, kidnappers and unknown gunmen that have terrorized the nation and forced farmers to flee their farms which has greatly contributed to the hunger in the land.”
