Protest: Give the Federal Government enough time – Oba of Benin urges Nigerians
The Oba of Benin, Oba Ewaure II, has urged Nigerian youths to cancel the planned protest scheduled for August 1, 2024.
In a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Osaigbovo Iguobaro, the Benin monarch acknowledged that improvements take time and appealed to Nigerians to give the current administration time to implement economic policies aimed at alleviating the present hardship
The Monarch also called on the federal government to intensify efforts in implementing its economic and security policies.
Oba Ewaure advised those planning the nationwide protest to reconsider their plans.
