“Your prophecies not from God, He does not punish the innocent”– Nnamdi Kanu’s family issues stern warning to Primate Ayodele

Primate Elijah Ayodele, leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has been warned to avoid involving himself in the case of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).

This warning came from Kanu’s younger brother, Kanunta Kanu, in response to a prophecy Ayodele made about Kanu’s continued imprisonment by the Department of State Services (DSS).

During the launch of his 30th “Warning to the Nations,” Ayodele suggested that Kanu should beg the government for his release or face death in jail. Offended by this remark, Kanu’s family urged Ayodele to refrain from making provocative statements and accused him of using Kanu’s situation for publicity. They asserted that Ayodele’s prophecies are not divinely inspired and called on him to focus on his church instead.

According to the statement, the “God whose mouthpiece Ayodele is claiming to be is a God of justice who does not punish the innocent.”

“Ayodele should be courageous enough to tell the world what God said about the murderous invasion of our family home that resulted in the death of our parents and the murder of 28 other innocent visitors to our home.

“The righteous God I know cannot count the masterminds of this atrocity guiltless and hold their victims accountable,” the statement added.
