Imade will grow up to see that I fought for her, as for now you can have her – Davido tells Sophia Momodu

Davido has responded to the counter-affidavit filed by Sophia Momodu, the mother of his first child, Imade Adeleke, in reaction to his request for joint custody. Davido had petitioned the court for either joint custody of Imade or unrestricted access to her.

Sophia’s 100-paragraph counter-affidavit opposed his request, citing her primary role in Imade’s upbringing and questioning Davido’s ability to ensure their daughter’s safety, referencing the tragic death of his son Ifeanyi.

In his reaction, Davido criticized Sophia for repeatedly mentioning his son’s death and unexpectedly suggested he might withdraw from the custody battle.
