I will sing the new national anthem, it is now the law – Sam Amadi

Sam Amadi, Director of the Abuja School of Social and Political Thoughts, has explained why he will sing the new National Anthem. Amadi stated that the new National Anthem has been enacted into law.

In a post on his X handle on Saturday, the former Executive Chairman of the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) said he will honor the anthem unless the law is overturned by the court, and advised everyone else to do the same.

He said: “I will sing the new (old) National Anthem. It’s now the law.

“I deplore the logic of bringing it back now and the manner it was brought back.

“But unless the court nullifies the law, I will honour it. And everyone should honour it.”
