FG suspends Air Nigeria indefinitely
The Federal Government has suspended the Air Nigeria Airline project indefinitely.
Minister of Aviation and Aerospace, Festus Keyamo, announced this during a ministerial briefing celebrating the first year of the Tinubu administration.
Keyamo explained that the airline was never a genuine Nigerian airline but an attempt to impersonate a foreign airline operating in Nigeria.
In January, Keyamo mentioned that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) had begun investigating the controversial Nigeria Air deal, which was finalized during the tenure of former Aviation Minister Hadi Sirika.
