Peter Obi: At 89 you have no future in Nigeria – Labour Party spokesman slams Wole Soyinka
Lagos Labour Party spokesperson, Ife Salako, has criticized Nobel laureate Wole Soyinka for suggesting that the party’s presidential candidate in the 2023 election, Peter Obi, should not run for the presidency in 2027, citing Obi’s unfit leadership due to his followers’ behavior. In a video he shared, Salako pointed out that Soyinka, at 89, has no future in Nigeria.
He also recalled an incident from Soyinka’s youth, alleging that Soyinka used a gun to intimidate others when things did not go his way. Salako accused Soyinka of causing problems in the country instead of resolving them at his age, and claimed that the politician Soyinka supports has associates involved in killings, drug dealing, and thuggery.
Additionally, Salako alleged that Soyinka’s involvement in starting cultism has led to ongoing issues in the country. He emphasized that the focus should be on improving the country, as businesses are closing and people are becoming poorer under the current administration.
