Some British media personalities have expressed strong criticism over Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s visit to Nigeria.
During a recent show discussing the visit, British media personality Kevin O’Sullivan described Nigeria as a lawless country plagued by female genital mutilation, lacking women’s rights, and where Islamic terrorists frequently kidnap children.
The media company typically shared all its interview clips on Instagram but chose not to share this particular clip, which has since gone viral.
O’Sullivan argued that Harry and Meghan are unjustly portraying Nigeria in a positive light, asserting that Nigeria does not deserve such an endorsement and claiming that members of the British royal family would never visit the country.
Royal commentator Michael Cole supported these views, alleging that Nigeria competes with Johannesburg as the murder capital of Africa. He also claimed that Nigerian scammers defraud British women seeking love without facing any repercussions.
