I have been married 20 years but I have never cooked in my home – Founder of Woodcapital, Mojisola Hunponu-Wusu

Mrs. Mojisola Hunponu-Wusu, the founder of Woodhall Capital, revealed that despite being married for 20 years and having children, she has never cooked in her household. Speaking on ‘The Diary Of A Naija Girl’ podcast, Hunponu-Wusu clarified that she has always been occupied with other responsibilities and thus hasn’t found the time for cooking or other household chores.

The entrepreneur explained that her husband doesn’t mind her absence from the kitchen, suggesting that cooking might not be his preferred way of expressing affection. However, she noted that she engages in activities that her husband appreciates.

She said, “I’ve been married for 20 years but I’ve never cooked in my home.

“I don’t get to cook. I love to have more time, not only for cooking, but for other things across the family but I don’t just get the time and I’ve to be true to my purpose and myself.

“And somehow, I hope I’m not speaking for him, maybe cooking is not my husband’s love language. Maybe he has other things I’m doing. We’ve three kids.”
