That is his style of governance. You cannot give what you don’t have – Bwala knocks Obi over quality of boreholes donated to northern communities
Former lawmaker Daniel Bwala has raised concerns about the quality of boreholes donated by Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi. Bwala criticized the boreholes, stating that they do not meet the standards of natural justice, equity, and good conscience.
Bwala alleged that during Obi’s tenure as governor, the Water Corporation in Anambra State was not adequately maintained.
Peter Obi recently completed a tour of the 19 northern states of Nigeria. During his visit, Obi donated boreholes to several communities in Kaduna, Sokoto, and other states. While this gesture has garnered praise from many Nigerians, it has also faced criticism from individuals
Bwala in a post on his X handle: “You only need to see @PeterObi water corporation when he was a governor to understand why he sponsored that borehole that is repugnant to natural justice, equity and good conscience.
“That is his style of governance. You cannot give what you don’t have. I am so happy that the demographics he deceived in the 2023 elections are wiser now.”
