I would rather go to hell than sing with Wizkid, Davido or Burna Boy, I am the best – Brymo

Renowned singer, Ọlawale Ọlọfọrọ, famously known as Brymo, has made a firm declaration to abstain from signing with record labels owned by his peers, namely Wizkid, Davido, or Burna Boy.

Despite the widespread acclaim of Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy as prominent figures in Afrobeats, Brymo expressed his adamant stance, stating that he would prefer to “go to hell” than to associate himself with any of their labels.

He said this when he appeared as a guest on the recent episode of the Bae U Barbie show titled ‘Curiosity Made Me Ask’.

“I am the finest vocalist on the continent. I am better than anybody on the continent. I am a better songwriter, I’m the best,” he said.

“I would rather go to hell than sing with Wizkid, Davido or Burna Boy.”
