Remi Tinubu calls for capital punishment on criminals who abduct children

Remi Tinubu, the First Lady, has urged state governors to implement capital punishment for criminals involved in child abduction across the nation, as she addressed journalists.

She said this while speaking to newsmen after the celebration of the 2024 International Women’s day

According to her;”Whoever is kidnapping children is sick, cruel and a coward. Enough is enough. I call on state governors that once we take hold of them, they deserve capital punishment. Why don’t they take people their size? Why are they touching our children? What they are doing is they are trying to kill your future. We all know parents, when we are old , we rely on our children and we see them as our investments that have not gone to waste especially when they are successful.Why would you go and take them from schools? Why? As a former lawmaker, I believe that any one of them captured deserves capital punishment. I say it and I believe most mothers believe that” she said
