”The guys are talented, we need to work with them for our own good” – Police PRO says as he shares photos of confiscated locally made guns in Jos

The Nigeria Police Force spokesperson, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, has commented on the quality of locally manufactured firearms recently discovered in a gun factory in Jos, Plateau State.

In a previously released statement, Adejobi revealed that the police had uncovered a factory in Kuru, Jos, Plateau State, where rifles are produced. He disclosed that a total of 2 AK-47 rifles, 9 automatic pistols, and 1,800 rounds of live ammunition were seized.

Sharing photos of the recovered rifles on X, Adejobi mentioned that the individuals involved in the illegal arms production possess remarkable skills, suggesting that the government should engage with them.

He further emphasized that the ammunition produced illegally has the potential to be as lethal as legally manufactured ones.
