Student killed as rival cults clash in FUTO

Tragedy struck at the Federal University of Technology Owerri (FUTO), Owerri, as a student lost his life and several others were injured in an incident believed to be related to cult activities.

The unfortunate event occurred on Friday morning when a group of students from Imo State University (IMSU) arrived at the FUTO campus in a motorcycle convoy, sparking a confrontation.

Amidst the confrontation, the commander of the FUTO Man O War was fatally stabbed in the neck by one of the IMSU students.

The loss of life and the injuries sustained have plunged the university community into mourning and disbelief.
