Gombe Police PRO recounts how he waited for 14 years to marry the woman he loves despite all odds

Mahid Muazu Abubakar, the spokesperson of the Gombe state police command, has shared the story of his 14-year journey to marrying the love of his life.

In a post published on X, Muazu recounted encountering his now-wife in 2010 and being drawn to her, though he refrained from pursuing a relationship at the time due to her young age. He explained that in 2016, he decided to pursue his feelings, despite facing opposition from Nafisa’s family members. Muazu disclosed that he proposed to her eight years ago and they recently tied the knot.
