Women rejected me because of my face and stature – Actor Stephen Alajemba

Veteran Nollywood actor Stephen Alajemba, also known as Uwaezuoke, has shared his past struggles with rejection, both from women and society at large, stemming from his physical appearance

According to the seasoned actor, he recounted how his mother had instances where people declined to hold him as an infant because of his perceived lack of attractiveness.

In a recent conversation with popular YouTuber, Yan Kontent Factory, Alajemba revealed his determination to prove his worth to his mother, who expressed disappointment in his early years, believing he hadn’t brought anything positive into her life.

“Any lady who sees my facial look and stature runs away,” the actor said.

“Unfortunately before one accepted me I was already 20 to 22 years old. I married at 23. So the first person tasted it and confirmed it and she did not leave me anymore.”
