AFCON: Best team won, let’s face our demons – Charly Boy

Veteran singer, Charly Boy has responded to the Super Eagles’ 2-1 loss to Ivory Coast in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday.

He acknowledged that Jose Peseiro’s team put in effort against Ivory Coast but conceded that the better team emerged victorious.

He shared this in a post on Twitter. He wrote;

“The Super Eagles really tried but the best team won.

“Oya, make we face the demons facing us.”
