APC chieftain slumps, dies while watching AFCON match

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and a former representative of the Ika federal constituency of Delta State in the House of Representatives, Dr. Cairo Ojougboh, has passed away.

According to sources close to the family, the esteemed politician passed away on the night of Wednesday, February 7, while watching the AFCON 2023 semi-final match between Nigeria and South Africa

“As soon as a penalty kick was awarded against Nigeria during the AFCON match with South Africa on Wednesday’s semi-final clash in Bouake, Ivory Coast, he slumped,” a source told Leadership
