Youths Protest Food Price Hike in Suleja

On Wednesday, February 7, several young individuals in Suleja, Niger state, took to the streets to protest against the exorbitant prices of food items within the state.

Expressing their frustration, the enraged youths demanded action from the government led by President Bola Tinubu to alleviate their severe hardships and unbearable inflation.

Earlier, on Monday, February 5, residents of Minna, the capital of Niger State, including men, women, and youths, also organized a protest to denounce the escalating inflation across the nation.

“There is a protest ongoing at the Suleja local government area of Niger State. They are calling on Tinubu to end the hardship the masses are suffering on a daily basis in the country,” a witness said
