Grammy-nominated Nigerian artist, David Adeleke, known as Davido, has committed to persevere despite not winning the award.

Davido and other Nigerian nominees, experienced disappointment at the 66th Grammys on Sunday. Tyla, the only nominee outside Nigeria in the inaugural Best African Music Performance category, took home the award. Additionally, the DMW boss did not secure wins for his nominations in the Best Global Music Album and Best Global Music Performance categories.

This outcome prompted frustration among many of Davido’s fans, who criticized the Grammy organizers for their perceived role.

Nevertheless, Davido took to X to address his fans directly, expressing his gratitude and love for their support. He assured them that he remains undeterred, emphasizing his determination to persevere and continue delivering quality music.

On his X handle, he wrote: “I just want you to feel alright.

“I love each and everyone of you !! We Dey game!! We will continue to deliver.”
