You now need BBL to get movie roles in Nollywood – Actress Bayray Nwizu

Nollywood actress Eberechukwu Bayray Nwizu has shared that undergoing a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) has become a prerequisite for actresses to secure movie roles from certain producers within the Nigerian film industry. The actress revealed this during her appearance on TVC’s program, Wake Up Nigeria, recently.

While acknowledging the industry’s advancements in capital and infrastructure, Nwizu expressed concern about a decline in raw talent. She noted that producers are increasingly favoring social media sensations whom they believe can effectively promote their projects.

Nwizu emphasized the importance of striking a balance, acknowledging the producers’ need for profit but also stressing the significance of nurturing and appreciating raw talent in the film industry.

Nwizu said, “Ten years ago, it was you’re not fair enough, you’re not tall enough, you’re not full enough; now it’s you don’t have BBL.

“The good news is that now you don’t have to conform to them. You can take advantage of any of the streaming platforms, start creating your own content, and grow. We don’t have any excuses anymore. There are always going to be those who say, you have to do this to be in my movie.”
