BREAKING: Usman Ahmed Ododo Sworn in as Kogi State Governor

Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo officially assumed the role of the fifth democratically-elected Governor of Kogi State, taking the oath of office administered by Kogi State Chief Judge, Justice Josiah Mejabi.

The ceremony, held at the Muhammadu Buhari Civic Centre in Lokoja, saw Ododo sworn in at precisely 2:27 pm. His Deputy, Elder Joel Salifu Oyibo, had earlier taken the oath at 2:18 pm, cheered on by a large crowd. Vice President Kashim Shettima, representing President Ahmed Bola Tinubu, was present at the event.
