You’ll remain poor if paid for service to God – Pastor Ibiyeomie

Pastor David Ibiyeomie from Salvation Ministries has cautioned his congregation, stating that if they receive payment for their service to the church, they will remain trapped in poverty.

He contends that according to a biblical passage, blessings come from serving God without expecting monetary compensation.

This message was conveyed in a video circulating online on Wednesday.

He said; “You are beating drums and they pay you if you are hearing me from anywhere in the world and they pay you for rendering service, I can tell you, you will never come out of poverty.

“Thou shall serve the Lord your God and he shall bless your bread and water. So the moment you serve God and they pay you, the blessings stop.”
