“If I had the power, I would have punished Wike long ago” – Dele Momodu

Dele Momodu has urged the leadership of the People’s democratic party (PDP) to take disciplinary action against FCT Minister Nyesom Wike for his perceived disloyalty.

Momodu expresses his desire to have addressed Wike’s actions earlier, echoing the PDP acting National Chairman Umar Damagum’s commitment to sanction Wike for working against the party.

Wike had supported APC’s Bola Tinubu over PDP’s Atiku Abubakar in the previous election and is currently in conflict with Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara. Momodu emphasizes the need for the PDP to curb Wike’s behavior, asserting that he would have taken action if in a position of authority within the party.

He said: “If I had the power, I would have punished Wike long ago. The PDP leadership must have its reasons for keeping him while he continues to trouble the party.

“He wants to eat his cake and have it.”
