18-year-old married woman dies during childbirth

A married 18-year-old woman named Chinasa Odeh passed away during childbirth in Ebonyi State.

She was laid to rest on Monday, December 11, at her husband’s compound in Ndulo Amike Izhia in Ohaukwu Local Government Area of the state.

Her brother-in-law, Oge Nwizhia, who had previously announced her passing, mentioned that the baby survived and is in good health.

“We deeply regret to inform you of the passing of our beloved sister-in-law, Chinasa Odeh, on the 12th of October 2023. Tragically, she lost her life during childbirth. We would like to announce thatthe burial ceremony for Chinasa Odeh will take place on the 11th of December at her husband’s compound in Ndulo Amike Izhia. Despite the heartbreaking loss of Chinasa, we are grateful to share that her child has survived and is full of life,” he wrote.
