“Don’t call on me to make contributions for people who didn’t call me for work” Shan George slams Nollywood colleagues requesting she contributes to other colleagues’ welfare

Shan George has criticized her Nollywood peers for urging her to contribute to the welfare of other colleagues. She mentioned that when there are lucrative acting roles available, they overlook considering her for such opportunities.

She highlighted that even for minor roles, she’s not considered, preventing her from earning even a small amount for essentials like “waka pass” roles that would allow her to afford basic needs like “small garri” to share with her children.

However, when it comes to seeking donations, her colleagues flood her with requests. Waking up to find herself added to 15 WhatsApp groups solely created to collect monetary aid for fellow actors, she expressed frustration.

George emphasized that most of these individuals seeking donations never extended job opportunities to her. She sternly warned against being added to such groups in the future.

She further highlighted that during her hardships, nobody showed any concern or care.
