Young man dies in auto crash days after announcing his admission into UNIPORT
A 28-year-old man named Abacha Wezume passed away in a car accident merely four days after receiving admission to the University of Port Harcourt.
The fatal motor accident occurred on Friday, October 27, 2023, in Rivers State, claiming Wezume’s life. He hailed from Aluu in Ikwerre Local Government area of Rivers State and had joyously shared news of his admission to UNIPORT on Facebook on Monday, October 23.
The deceased had been trying to further his education for years.
“Congratulations to me. Unique uniport thank you. Have just been offered admission,” he wrote.
Hours before he died, he wrote on his Facebook wall; “I ‘m untouchable. I will live to glorify His holy name”
Meanwhile, friends and family members have taken to Facebook to mourn the deceased.
