Veteran Actor, John Okafor seeks financial assistance as he battles ailment that could lead to the loss of his leg

Veteran comic actor, John Okafor, famously known as Mr. Ibu, has taken to social media to request public assistance as he battles with a serious ailment that could potentially result in the loss of his leg.

The actor made this appeal on Wednesday from his hospital bed, sharing a video clip on his Instagram page. He revealed that he had been unwell for several weeks and had been admitted to the hospital.

Regarding the nature of his illness, Mr. Ibu explained that his doctors have informed him that amputation might be necessary if all other treatment options are exhausted.

Adding to the conversation, his daughter, Jasmine Okafor, mentioned that her father’s condition is deteriorating, and he has used up all his financial resources. Therefore, they are reaching out to the public for support, appealing to kind-hearted individuals to assist in facilitating Mr. Ibu’s travel abroad for advanced medical treatment.
