Releasing Nnamdi Kanu will make you national hero – Ohanaeze tells Tinubu 

The Ohanaeze Ndigbo conveyed to President Bola Tinubu that setting free the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, would elevate his status to a national hero.

In light of this, Okechukwu Isiguzoro, the factional Secretary-General of Ohanaeze, encouraged all Igbo groups to cease contentious activities and refraining from engaging in offensive media conflicts with the Federal Government.

According to him Igbo leaders need to rally together and take the necessary steps towards resolving the current situation

“President Tinubu has the opportunity to become a national hero by seizing this moment and releasing Nnamdi Kanu, he said

“Ohanaeze Ndigbo and the Igbo people will forever be indebted to him if he resists all pressures and demonstrates compassion and forgiveness. As Nigerians, we should collectively forgive Nnamdi Kanu for his past actions and work towards a united and prosperous nation.”
