CSU: Tinubu moved mountains for you in the past. Nobody should subject his or her friend to -this level of assault – Presidential Aide tells Atiku
Temitope Ajayi, the Senior Special Assistant to President Bola Tinubu on Media and Publicity, expressed criticism towards Atiku Abubakar, the 2023 Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, following the disclosure made by Chicago State University.
Ajayi described Atiku as lacking in decency and emphasized that Tinubu had provided him with refuge when former President Olusegun Obasanjo publicly criticized him.
He stressed that subjecting a friend to the kind of stress Atiku put Tinubu through was not acceptable.
In a post on X, the media aide recounted how Tinubu supported Atiku during his struggle with former President Olusegun Obasanjo.
Atiku had taken legal action in the United States to obtain Tinubu’s certificate from the Chicago State University. Upon the public release of the certificate, the institution confirmed Tinubu’s attendance at CSU.
Reacting, Ajayi wrote: “For me, the issue is not whether President Tinubu graduated from Chicago State University or not.
“It is the fact that former Vice President Atiku is not a decent man.
“Nobody should subject his or her friend to the level of assault and indignity he has subjected President Tinubu to because of earthly position and contestation for power.
“We are talking of a Tinubu that had moved mountains for Atiku in the past.
“A Tinubu that offered Atiku a shelter when he was thoroughly beaten by rain and stripped naked by President Obasanjo and his party PDP in 2007.
“No friend should become what Ekiti people call ‘aleni mo deyin’, a relentless pursuer like former VP Atiku regardless of the prize!”
that is the past not the present….
