Atiku, Obi absent as Tribunal delivers Judgement

Former Vice President and former presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Abubakar Atiku, along with his counterpart from the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, were noticeably missing from the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal where the verdict on their respective petitions was expected.

With the exception of Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed, there was a notable absence of prominent PDP figures in the courtroom. In contrast, the Labour Party was represented by its national chairman, Julius Abure.

As of the time of this report, the Tribunal members, headed by Justice Haruna Simon Tsammani, had arrived to announce the verdicts on the three petitions. Justice Tsammani ordered that the judgment for Peter Obi and the Labour Party be delivered first.
