First Lady hosts D’tigresses, Super Falcons at Presidential Villa

On Monday, the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, welcomed the members of the Nigerian female football team, the Super Falcons, at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

Following their elimination from the current FIFA Women’s World Cup, which is jointly hosted by Australia and New Zealand, the Super Falcons suffered a defeat via penalties against the English team on August 7.

The First Lady had previously organized a similar gathering with the triumphant Nigerian female basketball team, D’Tigresses, on the previous Monday. She has been consistently supporting Nigerian female sports figures by hosting them and boosting their morale.
