Comedian AY Makun has expressed gratitude towards Nigerians who have extended their support to him and his family following the recent fire incident at his Lekki residence.

The fire incident resulted in significant damage to his apartment, impacting a substantial portion of his possessions.

In a message posted on his Instagram account today, AY conveyed his appreciation, mentioning that God always substitutes something better when taking away from a person’s life. He also used the post as an opportunity to acknowledge and thank his wife, Mabel.

‘’Pain can be temporary when you find yourself with the right partner to journey with. It may last a minute, or an hour, or a day, or a year, but eventually it will subside and something else will take its place.

As we continue to walk through the journey of life together, we shall replace the lies of the enemies with the truth of God. One thing we know for sure is that God never takes away something from your life without replacing it with something better.
