Nigerians will soon see benefits of subsidy removal – Jigawa’s Gov Namadi asks citizens to exercise patience

Governor Umar Namadi of Jigawa State expressed his belief that Nigerians will soon witness the advantages of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration’s decision to remove fuel subsidies.

He made this remark during an event held in his honor by Hadejia residents over the weekend.

He urged Nigerians to exercise patience as President Tinubu has good intentions for the country

According to him: “We have to exercise patience. I am assuring you that the painful reforms carried out by the APC administration will soon yield a positive result.

“President Tinubu has good intentions for Nigeria; as such, he needs the full support of Nigerians to actualise his missions for a better Nigeria.

“What is required from Nigerians is understanding and support. Soon, you will turn out to be the real beneficiaries of the subsidy removals.”

Earlier, the national president of the Harmonised Traders Union, Dr Bature AbdulAziz, urged the governor to come up with a programme that will reduce the rampant migration of youths from the state to the southern part of the country.
