Speed Darlington has shared his perspective on why he personally cannot embrace monogamy.

During a recent episode of The Honest Bunch podcast, co-hosted by actor Nedu, Husband Material, and Deity Cole, the United States-based rapper discussed the challenges men face when they commit to a single woman in relationships or marriage.

Speed Darlington expressed that he believes men encounter numerous temptations while being in a relationship with just one woman. He further elaborated on his view that monogamy is not inherent to African culture and expressed his hope that his future partner would be open to the idea of polygamy.

He said, “Men are not supposed to be with one woman. There’s so much temptation with one. The temptation is great.

“We feel like we’re smarter than other animals; we wear clothes, we invent things to make our lives easy. So, we automatically believe that we are sharper. We are forcing ourselves into this principle of one woman.

“Africa and the entire black race, we are not the race of one woman.”
